![]() I did a full windows update, and restarted. The regular monitor driver says it is functioning. The hidden monitor driver says the same thing as the touch screen before I uninstalled it (which I regret): up to date, code 45, not connected. Recently installed programs and drivers might be uninstalled. I went to my monitor driver also and viewed the 'hidden' drivers. Please select the date before the touch screen problem occurred. Type Create A Restore Point onto search box, select System Restore, click Next, and then Show More Restore Points. I would suggest using the System Restore tool on system to go back to an earlier time before the touch screen stop working. Microsoft has released a new update KB4090913 (OS Build 16299.251) which supposedly fix the problem, see link below). Click on Scan for hardware changes at the top and wait for the results. Restart your device and go back to the Device Manager. Select Uninstall and follow the prompted indications. Search for your Touch screen device in the list and right-click on it. The Februsecurity update, KB4074588 could be the culprit of the touchscreen not working.The update cause some USB devices and onboard devices, such as a built-in laptop camera, keyboard, mouse or touch screen may stop working for some users. Press the Windows key and X simultaneously. The touch screen driver is in one of the windows updates. ![]()
